Captain Vikram Batra (Param Vir Chakra, Posthumous):  Nicknamed "Sher Shah" (Lion King), Batra is one of the most well-known heroes of the Kargil War. He led his men in the capture of Point 4875, a crucial Pakistani stronghold.  Batra was martyred during the capture of Point 5150.

Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav (Param Vir Chakra):  Yadav displayed exceptional courage during the capture of Point 5169. He single-handedly knocked out two enemy machine guns, paving the way for Indian victory

Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey (Param Vir Chakra, Posthumous):  Pandey displayed unmatched bravery during the capture of Point 5353. Despite being grievously injured, he continued to lead his platoon to victory. He succumbed to his injuries later.

Lieutenant Balwan Singh (Maha Vir Chakra): Singh played a pivotal role in the capture of Point 4875 alongside Captain Batra. He displayed exceptional combat skills and leadership throughout the operation.

Major Rajesh Singh Adhikari (Maha Vir Chakra, Posthumous): Adhikari led a daring assault on Point 5170. Despite being mortally wounded, he continued to fight until his last breath, inspiring his men to victory.
