2024 Sikkim Election Result Declared

The Sikkim Vidhan Sabha election results concluded on June 2, 2024, with the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) securing a decisive victory by winning 31 out of 32 seats. This marks SKM’s second consecutive win following their 2019 triumph. The Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF), which governed Sikkim for 24 years, managed to win only one seat, while other parties, including BJP and INC, failed to secure any seats. The vote distribution was as follows: SKM received 2,25,068 votes, SDF garnered 1,05,503, BJP obtained 19,956, INC collected 1,228, and NOTA accounted for 3,813 votes. The results of Sikkim’s Lok Sabha election are anticipated on June 4, 2024.
